You’ll work independently, following a structured schedule, to nurture and maintain healthy foliage plants in various client locations. Horticultural Service Technicians must have a reliable personal vehicle available each workday. Vehicle liability insurance and a valid driver’s license are to be always in place. Responsibilities Providing expert care to interior plants, including watering, fertilizing, cleaning, trimming, and proper light orientation. Identifying and removing damaged or unsightly foliage, maintaining a clean and presentable appearance for planters and surrounding areas. Protecting plants from disease and insects, ensuring a healthy environment. Maintaining staging and top dressing of plants to create a visually appealing atmosphere for clients. Building professional relationships with clients, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring exceptional service. Requirements A strong understanding of horticultural principles and the ability to identify common plant varieties. The ability to lift moderate weight (up to 50 lbs) and climb ladders comfortably. Experience using hand tools like scissors, pruners, saws, and sprayers. A clean driving record and a commitment to safe work practices. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients professionally. A willingness to participate in training sessions and collaborate effectively. The ability to maintain detailed service records and manage time efficiently.
