4pm to Finish This is a Temp to Hire position Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in food processing and production environments. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas meet health and safety regulations, contributing to the overall quality of our products. Responsibilities of the Sanitation Technician Use water, chemicals, and sanitizer to clean and sanitize equipment and production rooms daily. Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of food processing equipment, surfaces, and facilities. Execute custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting various areas within the facility. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during sanitation processes. Assist in the preparation of equipment for food production by cleaning and sanitizing prior to use. Follow all OSHA safety guidelines required by company Comply with GMP and Food safety guidelines Handle heavy lifting as required for moving equipment or materials during cleaning processes. Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Rquired skills/experience of the SanitationTechnician Basic knowledge and operation of cleaning equipment Basic mechanical aptitude Understanding of sanitation practices and procedures relevant to food production. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with industrial cleaning.
