Food Service Sales Rep (Wilmington) HT Hackney Lumberton, NC Job Overview The H.T. Our services include not only product distribution but also retail space management, foodservice solutions and vendor partner programs. The territory will be Wilmington / Lumberton / Laurinburg and Surrounding Area .
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Foodservice Director. Foodservice Specialists will support Foodservice sales through effective marketing/merchandising of all food service programs, from retail foodservice to food producing equipment. Our specialist will also be responsible for leading and working with a group of Sales Representative professionals across particular sales territories on the Distribution Center coverage area. Duties Calling on target accounts provided by Food Service Director Work Closely with designated H.T. Hackney Sales Previous experience in Food Service / Deli sales or a related field is preferred. Off suggestions and guidance to retailers to help grow their business Utilize the online Foodservice Ordering sit and Foodservice Ordering Guides Sell new items and programs Great Customer Service Skills Sample products, cooking products, and training your retailers on our food programs Assist with POS and Signage to promote foodservice programs SAMPLE and COOK Items for our retailers ASSIST Retailers with menu creation and new ideas
Position Requirements:
Sales Experience required, with experience in foodservice distribution, retail, or the convenience store Strong Communication Skills Proven History of building, creating and/or training successful teams Excellent Negotiation skills and problem solving abilities Willingness to travel (driving) to retail locations (Company car with gas card) May require occasional lifting/lowering/pushing, carrying or pulling up to 40 lbs
