Breaks:

Two paid breaks (10:00 AM and 2:00 PM) and a 30-minute unpaid lunch

OVERVIEW

Shop Technicians play a vital role in delivering high-quality, remanufactured motors andponents. This team sets itself apart by consistently producing reliable and well-crafted products. Technicians are expected to demonstrate strong technical ability, amitment to craftsmanship, and a collaborative spirit to help ensure the success of both theanization and its customers.
This is a fully on-site role based in Wallingford, CT, with the opportunity to grow into a long-term position. The assignment will begin at the start of the assembly line, learning the breakdown process of motors and gradually advancing into more technical responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate technical proficiency in all core duties of a Shop Technician
Continuously expand skills and knowledge to handle a variety of customer needs
Adapt to changes in workflow and priorities throughout the workday
Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a high level of customer service
Communicate effectively with peers and leadership regarding challenges or concerns
Maintain a clean andanized personal workspace and contribute to overall shop cleanliness
Follow all safety procedures to prevent injury
Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in safe operating condition
Duties
Perform teardown, cleaning, sandblasting, assembly, and diagnostic testing of motors, gearboxes, drive units, and relatedponents as directed
Arrive on time and maintain punctuality throughout the workday
Accuratelyplete documentation and track parts used in rebuilt units
Maintain accountability for both personal and d tools and equipment
Support overall shopanization and cleanliness as needed
Requirements
Must have reliable transportation and a personal vehicle
Must pass a drug screening and background check
Automotive, mechanical, or remanufacturing experience is highly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are essential

Pay Details:

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour
