The ideal candidate will need proven experience leading and supervising a team of installation professionals. The Lead Furniture Installation Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing the installation and reconfiguration of office and residential furniture.

The Day-to-Day:

Lead and supervise a team of furniture installers, ensuring all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Oversee all aspects of furniture installation projects, including: Reading and interpreting floor plans, blueprints, and installation instructions. Measuring and marking spaces for furniture placement. Disassembling, moving, and reassembling furniture. Installing partitions, cubicles, and other office components. Ensuring proper tool usage and safety procedures are followed. Conducting quality control checks to ensure installations are accurate and free of defects. Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that may arise. Order and maintain inventory of necessary tools, equipment, and supplies. Train and mentor new team members on installation techniques and safety procedures. Always ensure a safe and clean work environment. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma 5+ years of experience in furniture installation, including experience with office furniture systems. Strong understanding of furniture installation techniques and best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation instructions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Experience with CAD software and power tools is a plus.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 to $20.00 /hr

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or until finished (weekends when required)
