Compensation That Reflects You $30-$35/hr base + paid overtime , performance bonuses , and paid travel time ( Portal to Portal) Travel Perks All travel expenses covered (flights, hotels, rental cars, per diem), with clear project schedules. Your First Project & Travel Expectations You’ll kick off your role on a 12-week project in Miami . After that, you’ll support rotating nationwide projects , typically 1-3 weeks in duration, with breaks in between. You must be comfortable traveling 70-90% of the time , always with full travel support and planning from our team. What You’ll Do Refinish, repair, and restore furniture and millwork using professional-grade tools and finishing products (Mohawk, etc.) Complete on-site touchups and installations in hotel guestrooms and public spaces Diagnose and fix structural furniture damage (loose joints, missing parts, veneer damage, etc.) Perform carpentry-based modifications (cutouts, radius cuts, deconstruction of casegoods, re-construstruction of casegoods) Assemble and install casegoods, wall panels, vanities, and headboards per floor plans and drawings Submit photo-based and daily progress reports to the Client and the HFS Team. Collaborate with Project Managers, hotel engineering staff, and fellow techs on fast-paced projects.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

High level experience in high-quality furniture refinishing, or millwork refinishing Knowledge of various furniture materials and finishes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Mastery in spray finishing, staining, color-matching, sanding, and product application Working knowledge of Mohawk systems and HVLP spray equipment Carpentry and hardware experience (fastening, cutting, anchoring) Strong reliability, precision, and ability to adapt to new job sites Comfortable using software such as (Google Docs, Excel, Word Document, etc.) Proficient in using project management tools for internal team collaboration that hence organization and clarity in the project.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB

Able to lift 75 lbs, kneel, and climb ladders Valid driver’s license and vehicle Comfortable traveling nationwide (passport or ability to obtain one).
