Job description

POSITION PURPOSE

Develop and executes sales plans and goals designed to increase window, wall coverings and re-upholstery (drapery, shades, shutters, blinds, wallpaper, furniture re-upholstery) services and options offered to the design projects. Maintain and coordinate current vendor relationships related to pricing and installation of the window and wall coverings. Work closely with Designers of the Company to assess customer’s needs and offer solutions for Window and Wall coverings. Coordinate vendor training and facilitate training for designers as needed. Work closely with CAD Specialist and Designers to create visual aid for presentations and installations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Measuring skills related to window and wall coverings
Gathering information from multiple vendors to calculate project costs
Working knowledge of custom furnishings of window treatments and wall coverings
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients houses for measure and installation appointments
Ability to visualize a finished project and convey the outcome to the client

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum of three years of experience in a related position. Product knowledge including the installation process is required.
