As a Shop Helper, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our diverse creative projects—including Haunted Attractions, Halloween Festivals, Immersive Experiences, Activations, Escape Rooms, and more. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on teamwork, and is eager to learn new skills across multiple departments. The Shop Helper is a versatile team member who assists with a wide range of shop duties. This role requires someone eager to learn, willing to take on new challenges, and able to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day. You’ll work alongside skilled artists, carpenters, and technicians to help create unforgettable environments for our events and attractions.

Key Responsibilities:

Mild Carpentry:

Assist with basic carpentry tasks; general knowledge of power tools required.

Painting:

Support scenic and general painting projects as directed.

Packing & Crating:

Prepare, pack, and move materials or props; must be able to lift heavy objects safely.

Shop Upkeep:

Maintain cleanliness of the shop by emptying trash cans, sweeping floors, and ensuring a tidy workspace.

Shop Organizing:

Help organize tools, materials, and inventory to keep the shop efficient and safe.

Float Between Tasks:

Step in to assist different departments as needed, based on project priorities. Qualifications Willingness to learn new skills and take direction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team General experience with hand and power tools preferred. Capable of lifting and moving heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs.]). Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing work assignments. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be at least 18 years old.
