About the Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop Associate Role The Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop’s main goals are to ensure the field technicians receive the materials needed to get the job done within the time frame allowed. Currently, we are seeking a Fabrication Shop Associate to assist the Fabrication /Logistics teams with, preparing material for shipping, logging deliveries, putting away stock, and other projects as needed. What You’ll Do:
Receive, distribute, and organize materials. Ensure stock areas are maintained and orderly. Clean work areas and shop equipment. Load and unload materials and equipment. Handle and log deliveries. Provide assistance to other workers. Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed. What You Bring to the
Team:
A high school diploma is preferred. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated time management, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. Demonstrated action-oriented approach to tasks and projects. Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work on various tasks as required. Physical Requirements Must be capable of performing various physically demanding tasks essential to shop/warehouse operations. This includes the ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day, as well as standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing for extended periods. Additionally, the position requires dexterity to handle fragile or delicate items with care, accurately read labels and instructions, and follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment.
