⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Shipping Position in Furniture Shop (Portland) Krovel Furnitiure Co. ‹ image 1 of 4 › Forest Ave near Bell street compensation: $18 hourly to start, $20.5 at 1 year. 3 weeks paid vacation employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Shipper We are seeking a full-time or part-time (30-40 hours weekly) person for help in our growing furniture shop. Duties will include, but not be limited to, neatly and carefully wrapping and packing furniture pieces for shipment. Also, hand rubbing oil finish on furniture pieces with occasional hand sanding. Light shop duties including clean-up, organizing and prep tasks. Must be able to lift heavy boxes and work on your feet for a full shift. Wood shop is loud and active. Safety gear and headphones supplied. Room for growth into various shop tasks. No carpentry experience needed– we’ll train you up. Ideal candidate is hard working, self motivated and eager to learn.
