Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00

ProStaffing is seeking dependable, hands-on candidates for a Furniture Finisher Trainee position with a respected furniture manufacturer in Conover, NC. This is a temp-to-hire role offering a path to long-term employment and on-the-job training in a skilled trade.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Finisher Trainee, you’ll be trained to transform raw wood frames into beautifully finished furniture. You’ll learn to:

• Pull frames from schedule and read job tickets and notes
• Position and prep frames for finishing
• Apply stain, lacquer, and other finishes using spray guns and hand tools
• Sand or scuff surfaces as needed for proper finish adherence
• Inspect work for accuracy and finish quality
• Move completed pieces to the next production stage
• Keep your work area clean and safe

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Motivated to learn a hands-on craft ✅ Reliable and able to work a consistent M-F schedule ✅ Able to lift 35-50 lbs regularly (team lift for heavier items) ✅ Detail-oriented with good hand-eye coordination ✅ Comfortable using basic tools and reading tickets in English Experience with spray guns, sanding, or woodworking is a plus—but not required!

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Indoor shop floor with industrial airflow
• Standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive hand movements
• Use of ladders, hand tools, and occasional scissor lifts
