Job Description
HIRING! Immediate need for experienced Furniture Inspector and Repair personnel. The ideal candidate would have great attention to detail and is able to effectively communicate flaws in tools and parts as well as repairing the parts as needed. Previous furniture experience is a MUST, minimum 1 solid year.
Responsibilities:
Finish sanding solid woods and veneers; sand and clean up parts. Blends in shapes on frames, doors and drawer fronts with air hand tools. Fill in defects with epoxy. Must inspect parts with inspection light for defects. Observes plant safety rules. Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk, stand, climb, stoop, twist, push, pull and bend over the course of 8 hours. Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance.
