The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing various equipment. Our workshop has a key role in maintaining our quality standards. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wooden Furniture Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and refinishing wooden furniture pieces, ensuring they meet our quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in woodworking, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities ✓

Furniture Repair:

Diagnose and repair issues such as broken joints, scratches, dents, and cracks in wooden furniture. ✓

Refinishing:

Sand, stain, and finish wood surfaces to restore their appearance, including color matching, varnishing, and applying protective coatings. ✓

Custom Work:

Create or modify parts for furniture pieces that are missing or damaged. ✓

Woodworking:

Utilize various hand and power tools to perform wood restoration and custom woodworking tasks. ✓

Quality Control:

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards for both functionality and appearance. ✓

Safety:

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while using tools and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. ✓

Maintain Equipment and Tools:

Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and properly maintained. Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Wooden Furniture Repair Technician or in a similar woodworking or furniture restoration role.
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, techniques, and materials (e.g., hand tools, power tools, stains, finishes).
  • Ability to assess the condition of furniture and make precise repairs.
  • You value integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for handling tools and heavy furniture.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (certifications in carpentry, woodworking, or furniture restoration a plus).
