BRDG Studios designs and fabricates unforgettable brand experiences—spanning retail, hospitality, pop-ups, and immersive environments. From custom millwork to sculptural displays, our cabinetry team brings form, function, and finesse to the physical side of our future-forward builds. The Role We’re looking for an on-call Cabinetry Assistant to support our cabinetmakers and fabricators during peak build periods. This is a junior-level, contract role perfect for someone who’s comfortable in a shop environment, eager to learn, and ready to support high-end, design-forward fabrication. You won’t be cranking out kitchen boxes—you’ll be helping craft custom furniture, displays, and fixtures for some of the most innovative brands out there. What You’ll Do Assist with cutting, sanding, edge-banding, and prepping parts for assembly. Support the wood team in assembling custom pieces and architectural elements. Handle material transport, inventory organization, and shop cleanup. Read and follow basic shop drawings or verbal direction to complete tasks accurately. Operate hand tools and basic shop equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with finishing prep and install coordination when needed. Be available for on-call work depending on project load and delivery schedules. What We’re Looking For Entry-level experience in a fabrication or millwork setting (or relevant school/training background). Comfortable taking direction and jumping into a wide range of tasks. Passionate about craftsmanship, design, and building cool, non-standard things. Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet in a hands-on environment. Familiarity with plywood, laminates, MDF, hardwoods, and architectural finishes a plus. Positive attitude, good communicator, and team-first mentality. Nice to Have Experience in retail or museum buildouts, scenic shops, or design-build firms. Interest in CNC processes or working alongside digital fabrication.
