AT A GLANCE

Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Furniture Restoration Professional to join our Operations Team in Fort Mill, SC. The position is responsible for assessing damages and repairing them proficiently and with appropriate methods of repair for case goods, leather, marble, and upholstery according to departmental standards.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER

• Assess and repair furniture proficiently with appropriate methods for case goods, leather, marble, and upholstery according to departmental standards
• Read and understand parts lists
• Ability to view product as a customer maintaining highest quality of perception
• Produce a quality score of 85% or better for all repairs
• Maintain organized and safe workspace for self and others
• Coach and direct proper lifting techniques
• Exhibit personal excellence by accepting cross-training opportunities
• Maintain personal and facility safety by following all material handling and warehouse safety guidelines
• Follow company Attendance Policies
• All other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Must be comfortable with manual labor
• Experience with color matching & blending
• Experience with case goods repairs including burn-ins & wood graining
• Leather repairs including scuffs, holes, and tears
• Upholstery repairs including structural/mechanism replacements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with power and hand tools
• High level of attention to detail and professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team

WORKPLACE ENVIROMENT

While performing the duties of this job the employee is:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch on concrete flooring
• Must be able to routinely lift or move objects up to 75 pounds alone and team lift objects over 75 pounds

MEMORY MAKER PERKS AND BENEFITS

Each new hire will be brought in on contract for the first 90 days of employment with the intention of being converted to a permanent Broad River Retail employee.

• Upon being converted to a permanent employee, Broad River Retail offers the following benefits:
• Hourly Rate of $16/hr-$17/hr based on numerous factors including experience, knowledge, and skill. Paid Weekly!
