Job Description
Die Cutter Feeder 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Lanett, AL 36863 To aerate, feed loads, and flip loads for a sheet feed Die Cutter. Assist with the setup and operation of the Die Cutter to achieve the maximum uptime and the highest possible quality of product. The Feeder will be responsible for aerating and feeding printed loads for their Die Cutter. Once the load is cut, the Feeder is responsible for flipping loads and placing them in the designated drop zone. All Powered Industrial Truck inspections must be complete at the start of every shift. Work with the Operator as a team to achieve the highest output possible from the Die Cutter. This will include assisting the Operator on make readies and throughout the shift. When the Operator goes on break, the Feeder will cover the Operators responsibilities. During this time the Feeder is not allowed to aerate or flip loads. The Feeder is expected to learn every aspect of the Die Cutter in order to keep the Die Cutter running when the Operator is not present (on break). Share the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness of the Die Cutter and the area around the machine including trash cans, waste bins, waste loads, and aerator pits. The Feeder will help perform Preventive Maintenance on the Die Cutter in order to keep the machine in good operating condition. Perform various other tasks as assigned.
