Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Awning Material Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting awning materials to fit custom frames, ensuring precision and quality in every piece.

Responsibilities:

Measure and cut awning materials according to specified dimensions and customer requirements. Operate cutting equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure optimal efficiency and safety. Inspect materials for defects or imperfections and make adjustments as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer deadlines. Follow instructions and guidelines provided in work orders and architectural drawings. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role, such as cutting upholstery, carpentry, or similar materials, preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in measurements and cuts. Proficiency in using cutting equipment and tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings is a plus, but not mandatory. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Punctuality and reliability are essential.
