The Batching Operator operates a stationary plant that produces Ready-Mix concrete.

Job Functions:

• Manages raw materials
• Operates an automated command batching system
• Records quantity of sand, cement, gravel, and water required for each mix on loading ticket
• Observes indicator that show when proper amount of materials have been made
• Assists in maintenance and report of plant equipment
• Performs other related duties

Job Requirements:

• Must possess the consistent ability to work overtime (nights & weekends) approximately 55-70 hours
• Interact with Dispatching, Customer Service, Quality Control and Drivers
• Focus on

Customer Excellence Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have basic math skills
• Ready-Mix concrete industry experience is preferred
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the automated batch plant operation
• Bilingual English/ Spanish
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
• Proficient working knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to handle pressure and solve problems

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour
