JOB FUNCTION

The Core Removal Operator must be able to perform all operations and operate equipment efficiently while working in order to keep product moving through departments.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Core removal (autoclave & open bath). Waterblast. Blast Visually inspect all work for obvious defects. Record on a daily basis all work performed by operational codes. Check routing card for accuracy, sign off routing card upon completion of operation being performed, move all castings to next sequentially routed operation. Meet an acceptable level of performance and show proficient understanding of Engineering and Quality instructions. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Keep your work area clean and follow all safety rules.

EDUCATION

High school education.

EXPERIENCE

Three months OJT training.

INITIATIVE AND INGENUITY

Normal initiative and ingenuity.

EFFORT:

Normal effort required. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, approximately 5-10 times per hour. Use chain hoist for heavier weights.

RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for self. Make sure parts meet quality standards. Must be willing to work daily overtime and weekend overtime as necessary.

JOB CONDITIONS

Dusty working conditions due to ceramic pieces and dust.
