Job Type:

Temp to Hire Job Overview This role involves operating a variety of turning and grinding machines to produce precision inner and outer bearing rings. These critical components are used in aerospace applications, including those essential to aircraft operation. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate turn and grind equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with SOPs and work instructions. Maintain accurate production and quality records and ensure documentation procedures are followed. Handle, prepare, and move materials and parts with care to prevent damage. Identify and report faulty equipment, defective materials, or unusual conditions to supervisors. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Adhere to all prescribed safety rules and PPE protocols. Train new personnel as needed and contribute to workforce flexibility. Assist in the creation and updating of setup sheets and standard work procedures. Operate and interpret all gauges relevant to the work area. Perform inspections per work instructions and obtain necessary certifications as required. Communicate machine or quality issues and support audit processes. Participate in problem-solving meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Execute other related tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Skills & Experience:

Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria. Familiarity with computer interfaces and basic software usage. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with standard measuring instruments and inspection tools preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, lift, and move materials for extended periods. Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times. Pay Details:
