The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to train and learn machine operation and bring a positive attitude to a dedicated, fast-paced team. Responsible for the efficient operation and primary maintenance of the machine in which they are assigned. Machines which require operators include but are not limited to: edgebander, beam saw/horizontal panel saw, CNC router, FORKLIFT

. Machine operators should be meticulous by nature, able to multi-task and have the ability to foresee issues and provide solutions before they happen.

Responsibilities:

Operate, and maintain high tech machinery in a manufacturing setting including CNC’s, routers, wide-belt sanders, and edgebanders. Loads table/machine by lifting parts into position. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Onsite Training Program to develop the Skills to Advance your Career. Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area. Ability to follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

FORKLIFT CERTIFIED

Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Ability to follow written and oral instructions Mechanically inclined Basic hand tool knowledge and experience Ensure machine is properly set up and producing the quality of parts expected Perform routine and periodic maintenance Ability to reasonably diagnose and articulate issues with machine Ability to use the computer as trained for specific machines Perform milling, turning, taping and all saw operations Report all abnormalities affecting the quality of parts or overall machine operation Assists in keeping the area clean Problem Solver Perform job in cost-effective manner Positive attitude toward personal, department, and company goals Respect for fellow team members and customers Always perform job safely including wearing safety glasses and ask for help with lifting Open line of communication Team player On time and present for work daily Take responsibility for getting the work done Experience with Stiles machinery would be a plus!
