SHIFT DAYS /HOURS

1st Shift Position (7 PM- 5AM) 12 hour a day work schedule/Monday-Friday

STARTING PAY

$24.36 per hour, with the ability to earn more. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finishing Thermal Bar Operator to join our team. As a Finishing Thermal Bar Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our aluminum products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The process involves operating and maintaining specialized thermal finishing equipment to treat aluminum bars, enhancing their durability and appearance. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Operate finishing thermal bar machinery according to established safety and quality standards. Monitor the aluminum pieces during the thermal finishing process for consistency in quality and appearance. Assist in setting up machines for production runs and making necessary adjustments as instructed. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Document production output and report any defects or issues to supervisors immediately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries while operating machinery.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the qualifications, knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques in aluminum manufacturing. Basic understanding of mechanical operations, with hands-on experience being a plus. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues clearly. Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed, perform repetitive tasks, and stand for long periods. Must pass company background check and drug screen.
