Full-Time, Temp-to-hire Schedule Monday through Friday, daytime hours (8-hour shifts) Occasional weekends are required for special events

Starting Pay:

$20•23/hour based on qualifications and experience during the temp-to-hire/ probationary period of approximately six months. The hiring company is looking to fill a permanent position. If hired permanently, a pay raise and comprehensive benefits will be negotiated. Job Summary The hiring company is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious laborer to support Household Hazardous Waste in Huntsville, AL. This position involves the handling, sorting, and disposal of household chemicals, paints, batteries, and other materials. Key Responsibilities Unload and sort hazardous household waste from resident vehicles Identify and segregate materials by type (paint, chemicals, batteries, etc.) Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations Assist with weekly and special collection events as needed Requirements High School diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor outdoors Comfortable handling chemicals with PPE and training provided Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team spirit Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately Why Work Here?
