Actalent is Hiring an Asbestos Analyst fir an Environmental Lab in the Central Florida area! Responsibilities Analyze bulk samples for asbestos and fungi. Prepare and analyze aerobiological, environmental, and water samples. Enter and report data using LIMS. Review data independently and perform quality control tasks. Assist with lab accreditations and maintain QA documents. Manage projects based on urgency and deadlines. Ensure adherence to company policies. Essential Skills Asbestos analysis PLM (Polarized Light Microscopy) PDM (Phase Dispersion Microscopy) PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy) Microscopy Microscope operation Biology Geology Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Geology, or a related science. 1-2 years of lab experience with mold and/or asbestos microscopy analysis. Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.
