STAFFING IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR SR. AND JR. TECHNICIANS FOR MCGUIRE

Provide Radiation Protection coverage and oversight as required for power-plant activates. In addition to providing job coverage, certain routine tasks may be assigned commensurate with individual certifications, qualifications, and skills. Types of tasks RP Technicians may perform include the following: radiation and contamination surveys
material and equipment surveys
release of personnel and material
material escort
ALARA planning
assisting with decontamination activities
support of Site Emergency Plan coverage of primary work activities same as JR coverage.

Education / Training

Requirements High School Diploma or GED
Satisfy all requirements required to obtain a Level II Nuclear Access Badge
Education and experience meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI Standard N-18.1 (1971).
Education and experience meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI Standard N-3.1 (1978).
Competition of GAP training / CIRP Task of the

NISP-RP-12

(Nuclear Industry Standard Process)
Individual workers may be assigned to specific task requiring specialized training. When specified, individuals must be trained in accordance with the following OSHA, DOT, and
