The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restoration industry, with hands-on experience in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fire restoration. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties to their pre-loss condition while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Duties Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification. Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from affected areas. Execute fire restoration tasks, including cleaning and restoring damaged structures and contents. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for various restoration projects. Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process. Assist with asbestos abatement procedures when necessary. Build rapport with clients by providing exceptional service and clear communication throughout the restoration process. Maintain accurate documentation of services performed and materials used during each project. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques is a plus. Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement processes is highly desirable. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required by the job. A valid driver’s license is preferred.
