Fiberglass Mold Prep Technician Location :

Knoxville, TN Manufacturing and Corporate Island Campus Role Overview:

We are looking for a Fiberglass Mold Prep Technician to help us maintain and prepare molds used to construct fiberglass pools. This role is responsible for inspecting pool molds for damage as they return from the manufacturing process, making small repairs, and then preparing the molds for their next use. This involves cleaning, waxing, sealing, applying a release coating, and storage preparation of the molds.

Skills and Qualifications:

Familiar and comfortable with the use and operation of a variety of powered and manual hand tools, such as buffer polishers, grinders, drills, hammers, cutting tools, and towels. Knowledge of chemical handling and the ability to use a variety of PPE for protection, such as knee pads, anti-slip socks, fall protection, and gloves. Ability to climb, bend, and kneel in a variety of positions. Prior experience and understanding of fiberglass construction or auto body repair/detailing preferred. Why Join Us?
