Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of bench jeweler duties, including but not limited to: sizing rings, repairing breaks and soldering, setting stones of various shapes and sizes, polishing and finishing jewelry pieces. Fabricate custom jewelry pieces from sketches, models, or customer specifications. Work with various precious metals, including gold, platinum, and silver. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment. Adhere to quality control standards to ensure all work meets the highest levels of craftsmanship. Collaborate effectively with sales associates, and other team members. Potentially assist with appraisals and quality inspections.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bench jeweler, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. Proficiency in various jewelry repair and fabrication techniques. Excellent stone setting skills, including prong, bezel, and pave settings. Strong soldering and laser welding skills are highly desirable. Ability to work with precision and accuracy, even under tight deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Graduate of a recognized jewelry trade school or equivalent experience is preferred.
