Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Designer with hands-on experience in assembly, basic hand tools, and shop experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong design portfolio, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Pay based on experience and ability.
Key Responsibilities:
Create compelling 2D designs for various projects, including but not limited to custom one off designs as well as OEM products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements. Assist in the assembly of prototypes and final products using basic hand tools. Utilize shop experience to effectively execute assembly tasks and troubleshoot issues. Ensure high-quality standards in both design and physical assembly. Maintain organized records of design files and assembly processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a 2D Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in design software such as V Carve is a plus Required shop experience with assembly techniques and proficiency using basic hand tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Basic knowledge of CNC machinery is a plus. Experience in product development or prototyping. Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for design.
