Looking for a qualified candidate to work in our Fine Jewelry Boutique as a Part Time Jewelry Polisher. Ideal Candidates will have some experience working with Fine Jewelry and Repairs, Detail Oriented with patience, strong organizational skills, and works well under pressure with deadlines and expectations. Must be comfortable working with a diverse team and clientele. Carats Fine Jewelry and Watches has a winning, people-centered culture that is looking to grow with new employees. Minimum education will be High School Graduate, or Equivalent. Qualifications include Some Fine Jewelry Sales and or Repairs. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for Fine Jewelry and Watches. Someone who can really see the “Beauty In Everything.” There is hourly pay which is paid weekly. Full job description Carats Fine Jewelry and Watches is looking for a part time Jewelry Polisher. This position is part time, approximately 20-30 hours per week. Carats is a family owned jewelry store located in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. We are open Monday though Friday with no weekend, night or holiday hours. This is an ideal position for work life balance.

Responsibilities:

Polish rings, pendants, earrings, and bracelets to a high standard of finish. Clean jewelry items to ensure they are free of dirt and tarnish. Perform rhodium plating to enhance the appearance and durability of white gold items. Maintain organization by ensuring each jewelry item is correctly placed in the designated job bag. Change watch batteries and perform minor jewelry repairs Ability to use jewelry equipment including polishing wheel, pliers, small hand tools, ultrasonic cleaning machines

Qualifications:

Previous experience in jewelry polishing or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure accurate job tracking. A team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
