YOUR ROLE

As a Bench Jeweler at Hannoush Jewelers, you are a key player in upholding the craftsmanship and quality that define our 45-year legacy as a family-owned jeweler. Your expertise in jewelry repair and fabrication ensures that every piece entrusted to us is returned with precision, care, and brilliance. RESPONSIBILITIES

Jewelry Repair & Maintenance:

Perform routine and complex jewelry repairs including, but not limited to, ring sizing, prong retipping, soldering, stone tightening, chain and clasp repair, re-shanking rings, and general maintenance.▪

Stone Setting & Inspection:

o Set diamonds and gemstones in various mountings while carefully inspecting pieces for potential issues. Ensure all settings meet our strict standards for security and alignment.▪

Polishing & Refinishing:

o Restore the original brilliance of jewelry pieces using professional polishing and finishing equipment and techniques.▪

Quality Control:

o Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure all repairs and customizations meet company standards prior to delivery to the guest.▪

Collaboration:

o Work closely with the sales team to provide insight and guidance on repair options, timelines, and custom design solutions.▪

Tool & Equipment Maintenance:

o Maintain jeweler’s tools and workstations in optimal condition to ensure safety and efficiency.▪

Guest Service Support:

o Support the guest experience by providing expert craftsmanship that reinforces the value and integrity of our services.

QUALIFICATIONS

▪ Proven experience in fine jewelry repair and/or custom jewelry fabrication is strongly preferred.▪ Proficient with jeweler’s tools including torches, polishing wheels, gravers, laser welders, and setting tools.▪ Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle delicate and high-value pieces.▪ Understanding of precious metals, gemstones, and various setting techniques.▪ Capable of working independently and managing a repair queue effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.▪ Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to communicate effectively with team members and management.
