Bench Jeweler/Goldsmith Wanted Marshall’s Jewelers Bellingham, MA 02019 Marshall’s Jewelers is a 70-year-old 4th generation jewelry store in Bellingham, MA. We are seeking a second Full-Time Bench Jeweler to join our us in our in-house design and restoration department. We provide a low-pressure, friendly atmosphere designed to deliver an outstanding customer experience with the highest level of professionalism. 5+ years in jewelry repair and experience on a laser machine is required. This position is 5 days a week (Tues-Sat) with seasonal overtime in December. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of bench experience: Stone setting (diamond and gemstone): round and fancy shapes using prong, bezel, pave, burnishing, bead, channel and fishtail setting All aspects of jewelry repair and restoration, including: ring sizing and re-shanking, soldering, prong re-tipping, resetting stones, assembly, finishing and polishing. Ability to work on all metals Willingness to work on all steps of the jewelry making process Highly organized with great attention to detail Familiarity with both torch and laser welding

• Technical understanding of polishing and jewelry manufacturing techniques.
• Significant experience performing and troubleshooting repairs
• Understanding of safety and security protocols associated with shop equipment and chemicals Custom hand fabrication experience a plus Hand engraving skills a plus Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills are a must Pay and benefits are commensurate with experience–all applications will be confidential.
