Benefits Brevard County is an EEO and Veteran’s Preference employer. Full Time Open Until Filled. $21.11 to $23.22 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and may include overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs skilled crafts and trades work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures and accessories.
REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) years of experience as a plumber. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must be able to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check administered by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed. Employer
