Class Summary This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits. Job Description
The Trades Technician position will be responsible for installations, repairs, and preventative and general maintenance of damaged trails, bridges, rec-set-asides, BMPS, etc.; responding to emergency calls; troubleshooting damage; and assisting the construction foreman on large projects. Essential Duties
Performing installations and repairing equipment in various conditions
Preparing and setting up tools, equipment, and materials as needed for each assignment
Assisting to ensure work truck is stocked in accordance with SOP
Responsible for county cell phone and tablet, in accordance with policies and procedures
Coordinating with outside vendors as needed
Monitoring and responding to emails
Completing service request paperwork
Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment

Two years of trades experience An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
