Locksmith or Locksmith Apprentice Keystone Lock & Safe Long Island, NY Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locksmith to join our team. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for providing locksmith services to clients, including installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and security systems. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks, including mechanical and electronic locks
• Cut keys and duplicate keys as needed
• Open locked doors and safes using specialized tools and techniques
• Provide emergency locksmith services, such as lockouts or lost key replacements
• Assess security needs of clients and recommend appropriate locking systems
• Install and repair security systems, such as alarms and surveillance cameras
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used
• Stay up-to-date with the latest locksmith techniques and technologies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of different types of locks, keys, and security systems
• Proficient in using locksmith tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot lock-related issues
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work performed
• Good communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
