• Job Description
• Join our electrical repair shop team where you’ll specialize in motor testing and part corrections. You’ll be responsible for identifying issues in motor components through testing and measurements, followed by utilizing lathes or mills to execute precise machining tasks such as under cuts, skim cuts, laser welds, or part fabrication to rebuild and correct motor components.
• Responsibilities
• + Conduct motor testing using micrometers to determine issues in housings, shafts, and barrings. + Perform machining tasks using lathes and mills for motor component corrections and rebuilds. + Execute under cuts, skim cuts, and laser welds following customer/project specifications and tolerances. + Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform accurate machining.
• Essential Skills
• + Experience with manual machines, including lathes and mills, for 3-6 years. + Proficiency in using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and mics for testing. + Ability to interpret and work off blueprints and part drawings. + Capability to machine components to specific specs and tolerances.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + 2-6 years of experience working on 3 or 5 axis machines. + Proficiency in operating an overhead crane. + Ability to perform documentation management using laptops/tablets.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
