- SUMMARY
OF FUNCTIONS
- Perform troubleshooting, basic welding, electrical repairs, lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other machinery maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventive maintenance as scheduledClean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipmentDismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoistsInspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needsInstall, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specificationsLubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified proceduresParticipate in the action planning processTrack/record time and all repair parts using work orders and maintenance management systemDetermine if a part is repairable and pass it on to the maintenance analyst to get repairedReassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance workStart machines and observe mechanical operations to determine efficiency and to detect problemsInstall equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specificationsCollaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipmentFollows basic blueprints, specifications, or verbal instructions and plans the intended location of wiring and equipmentMeasure, cut, assemble and install electrical wiring, stripping, splicing, and soldering as necessaryAttaches cables and wiring to the incoming electrical service and to various fixtures and machines that use electricityPerform basic adjustments and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics componentsSet up, operate, and tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assembliesAll other duties assigned by supervisorClean the workstation and surrounding areas making sure it is clean and free of debris•
