Machinist 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Alabaster, AL 35007 Snelling is recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist for the Alabaster, AL area! Night shift starting at 6pm with overtime! Starting pay rate of $22.00-25.00/hr, with increases to come!
JOB DUTIES FOR CNC MACHINIST
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, materials, and machining parameters. Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances. Operates overhead cranes/crane hoists to move materials. Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square, mic, and measuring equipment. Sets up and operates machines for cutting gears. Takes pride in work produced and exhibits a professional attitude.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CNC MACHINIST
Must have at least 3- 5 years of experience as a Machinist. Demonstrated ability to modify material by drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing and threading material into parts and holding tolerances to specifications. Must pass a math test (basic math, geometry, and trigonometry). All qualified and interested CNC Machinist candidates please submit resumes for immediate review.
