Summary We are seeking an Assembler/Packer/Maintenance Machinist to join our team at Blackstone Industries LLC in Bethel, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and packing our products with precision and care, contributing to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This role will include machinery repair, welding, cutting and wiring of equipment. Responsibilities Packing and crating equipment Cutting wood to specified sizes and assist in packing furniture Assist in production tasks including electrical wiring, soldering, plumbing, and assembling components Support warehouse operations by organizing and putting away materials Use a forklift to deliver materials to production cells Help with cleaning parts for the paint shop as needed Operate basic machine shop equipment under supervision Manufacture simple to moderately complex parts from sketches and prints Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance using Blackstone’s maintenance software Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, plumbing, & manufacturing environments preferred Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential. Basic understanding of machining processes is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical documents or assembly instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
