Roll Operator Set-Up Technician I-TECH Resources, Inc. Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 We are currently seeking a highly qualified Roll Mill Set-Up Technician . This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional with a background in machining and equipment setup to join a well-established team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sets up and operates machines using various tools. Fits and assembles parts to make or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines. Determines dimensions and tolerances of piece to be machined, sequence of operations and machines required by studying specifications, such as blueprint, sketch, damaged part or description of part. Plans and executes assignments using machine tools ranging from lathes to milling machines. May operate computer console/computer-controlled machine. Utilizes precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work.
Qualifications:
Requires machine shop training in mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machining procedures OR at least 3 years of experience performing job-specific tasks Flexibility in work schedule Must be able to meet attendance standards Excellent trouble shooting skills Mechanical background/aptitude is required Must have excellent problem-solving skills Must be able to read micrometers, calipers Must be able to lift parts up to 50 lbs Must be able to understand basic math Reading and writing comprehension is required Must have the following technical skills: equipment maintenance and selection; installation; operation monitoring, control, and analysis; programming; quality control analysis; repairing; technology design; and, troubleshooting.
