Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Inside Machinists for projects located in the Tampa, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $26/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Inside Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
Assembly, install, modify & repair of various ship machinery, and systems Set up, service, repair, align & test machines that operate on a mechanical and electromechanical basis
Utilize tools such as lathes milling machines shapers and grinders to repair machine parts to manufacturer specifications
Recommend changes related to the efficiency of setup and production
Align & secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials
Read micrometers with low tolerance
Prepare written mechanical evaluations
Read and work from blueprints
Requirements
3+ years of machining experience
General knowledge about ships and machinery
Must pass drug screen
Basic hand tools
