Operator,Set-Up with correct tooling, work-holding, and material, ensuringproper alignment and calibration Strong mechanical aptitude andunderstanding of machining principles Proficiency in readingblueprints and technical drawings Ability to use precisionmeasuring tools, ie: calipers and micrometers Mathematical Skillsfor calculations related to dimensions and cutting parametersEnsure quality standards are met often using computer-aidedmanufacturing (CAM) software to create the necessary machineprograms Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or programmingerrors Routine PM’s to ensure optimal performance
