Clearwater, FL Hours:
Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 11:30pm Pay rate: $28-$30/hr.!
About the position:
Operate
CNC HAAS
Milling or Lathe machine, CNC Lathe Okuma 10 & Okuma 10 SS and Okuma 12 with
OSB 300 L
Control (Okuma 10SS and 12 running with sub spindle live tooling). Our machines are 3-Axis, 4- Axis and 5-Axis, working with aluminum, plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts. Job Duties include, but not limited to:
- Set up and tear down a work order on a CNC Machine.
- Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
- Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances.
- Must be able to work off of blueprints
- Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts.
- Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs – weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
- Maintain the machine within the scope of its ability.
- You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc. as needed to keep parts moving
- Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.

- Machining Technology certification from a technical school, Machinist certification from a CNC manufacturer (such as OKUMA or HAAS) or equivalent.
- A minimum of two-years of hands-on Machining Operating experience.
- Working knowledge of shop math (Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry).
- Must know how to use calipers and micrometers
