Machine Shop Job Summary :
Responsible for planning, setting up, and operating manual and CNClathes/mills. Ability to write CNC programs based on engineeringdrawings and provide technical support. Perform TPM activities,first article reports, and first piece approvals.
KeyResponsibilities :
Operate manual & CNC lathes and mills Writeprograms for CNC machines based on engineering drawings Maintaintool records, offsets, and inventory Perform first pieceinspections and ensure quality standards Assist with the design andfabrication of fixtures, tooling, and prototypes Ensure safety andadherence to quality procedures Provide input for methodimprovements
Qualifications :
CNC programming experience(lathe/mill) Strong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and follow processesExperience with Haas, Mazak, and Swiss lathes Strong mechanicalaptitude and advanced shop math skills Self-starter with minimalsupervision required
