  R8892 Previous job As a Principal Machinist, you will have the opportunity to utilize mills, lathes, mill-turns, and Swiss machines (among others) to produce close-tolerance parts for our medical products.

A major area of responsibility for this role will be the set-up and operation of a variety of production machinery to produce close-tolerance precision medical device parts, with an emphasis on verifying and validating new set-ups for production and first piece runs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

7+ years Set up and operation of and CNC Swiss Lathes (5+ axis).
Utilize G-Code and M-Code programming for machine operations.
Perform machine setups for production runs, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.
Work with CNC Swiss lathes and other advanced machining equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure continuous operation.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Inspect finished products for quality and precision, making adjustments as necessary.

Work Experience Requirements:

Two of the following requirements: Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience operating advanced CNC production equipment. Examples of advanced equipment include Swiss. Lathe and Mill machines with live tooling.
Successful completion of the Principal Machinist Assessment.
Currently employed as a

CONMED CNC

Sr Machinist.

Knowledge Requirements:

Ability to produce parts at maximum rates with zero defects Ability to optimize processes through continuous improvement efforts Must be able to read, understand, and interpret G and M codes. This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship.
