About the Job We’re looking for a versatile CNC Machinist who’s ready to dive into a variety of machines and help keep our production humming smoothly. You’ll be running CNC routers, Haas mills, and laser engravers to craft high-quality parts that make a real impact. If you’re mechanically curious, know—or are willing to quickly learn—your way around Fusion 360, and enjoy the challenge of switching gears between machines, you’ll fit right in. Our shop is clean, air-conditioned, and honestly one of the best places you’ll find to work—not just because of the “cut-above-the-rest” environment, but because of the people! We’re a tight-knit crew who truly value teamwork, and we’re looking for someone who can confidently manage multiple machines and grow alongside us as things pick up. Who You Are You’re a confident operator with solid experience running CNC equipment. You’ve worked with Fusion 360 CAM, can read blueprints, and know how to spot trouble before it snowballs. You’re not rattled by jumping between a router, a mill, and a laser—and even if you haven’t used our exact machines, you’re a fast learner who gets the rhythm of production environments. You work clean, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing things right the first time. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Run the
Machines:

Operate Haas mills, CNC routers, and laser engravers with minimal supervision.

  • Follow the
Plan:

Execute internal work orders (IWOs) to priority lists and complete required documentation.

Prep and Setup:

Mount and align tools, fixtures, and workpieces using hand tools and measuring equipment.

Keep Things Running:

Perform changeovers, replace dull tooling, and prep upcoming jobs while machines are active.

Check Your Work:

Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to measure parts and maintain quality.

  • Tune the
Program:

Modify and troubleshoot CAM-generated programs, adjusting feeds, speeds, or toolpaths to optimize cutting and resolve issues.

Manage Inventory:

Monitor tooling and material inventory levels; report low stock or coordinate replenishment as needed.

Flag Issues Early:

Monitor machine performance and any malfunctions or material issues.

Clean Up Right:

Follow basic maintenance, safety protocols, and cleaning routines to keep machines and the work area in shape.

Machine Maintenance:

Schedule Preventive Maintenance and down machine service with equipment builders service teams. Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education:

Technical Certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, or similar.

Experience:

3+ years operating CNC equipment (routers, mills, lasers, etc.) in a production environment, including 1+ year engraving laser operation experience.

Skills:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Fusion 360, and CorelDraw. Comfortable learning new software. Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • CNC Machinist or Fabricator certification
  • Familiarity with G-code (understanding of existing programs; no need to write from scratch)
  • Experience diagnosing minor issues on the fly
  • Prior experience in a high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environment
  • Comfort adapting to shifting production priorities
  • Experience with large-format printing is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • May involve prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and temperature variations.
