Our client is looking for a Junior Machinist who’s excited to learn, get on the shop floor, and build real-world machining skills. salary:

$41,600 – $52,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM – 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Assist in the setup and operation of CNC milling machines, lathes, and manual machines to produce precision components for blow mold systems (e.g., mold cavities, bases, clamps). Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, CAD models, and machining instructions. Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure tolerances and surface finishes meet specifications. Learn and apply correct machining practices for various materials including aluminum, tool steel, and stainless steel used in mold-making. Support senior machinists and engineers in improving production processes and tooling strategies. Log production details and quality notes into the system. The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time Skills CNC (1 year of experience is required) Lathes (2 years of experience is required) Mills (2 years of experience is required) Surface Grinders (2 years of experience is preferred) Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is required) Mold Assembly (2 years of experience is preferred) Calipers (2 years of experience is required) Micrometers (2 years of experience is required) Mechanical Assembling (2 years of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 2 years Experience level: Entry Level Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
