Are you a detail-oriented machinist with a passion for hands-on work? Our client is looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join their growing team! In this role, you’ll operate lathes, mills, grinders, and other manual machines to craft precision metal components based on blueprints and specs. salary:

$54,000 – $66,500 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM – 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Set up and operate manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy using micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment Monitor production for quality and consistency Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines Troubleshoot issues with machines and tools as needed Experience with both ferrous and non-ferrous materials Familiarity with basic CNC machine operations Machinist certification or technical training The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time Skills
Blueprint Reading (5 years of experience is required)
Mechanical Maintenance (5 years of experience is required)
Lathes (5 years of experience is preferred)
Mills (5 years of experience is preferred)
Drill Press (5 years of experience is required)
CNC (3 years of experience is required)
