Job Description Onin Staffing is hiring a Machinist in theDecatur, AL area! We’re looking for someone skilled in operatingprecision machine tools such as mills, grinders, and boring millsto fabricate, repair, and accurately shape metal parts according toengineering drawings. This role involves milling, turning, andgrinding techniques, with a strong focus on quality inspection andcontrol to ensure top-notch accuracy. ? Responsibilities OperateCNC machines (mills, grinders, boring mills) Read and interpretblueprints and technical drawings Perform inspections usingcalipers, micrometers, and gauges Conduct preventative maintenanceand troubleshoot machinery Safely rig and move large steel partsusing cranes Maintain accurate documentation and follow safetyprotocols ? Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent(technical training preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experiencewith CNC and/or manual machining tools Strong understanding ofmetal properties and machining processes Attention to detail andcommitment to quality Ability to lift heavy materials and work in amanufacturing environment Strong communication and teamwork skills

2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30
