Entegris is currently seeking Machinist I to join our team.

This position will be based in our Decatur, TX facility.

As aMachinist I you will perform tasks directly related to themachining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialtymaterials.

YOU’LL DO

Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customerspecifications, and internal work instructions. Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, andcomputers, (desktop and machine control varieties) Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills,manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cupgrinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment. Perform machine setups and/or operate equipment that is setupby more skilled operators. Complete machining tasks within a customer job. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safeworking environment for yourself and colleagues. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturingguidelines to consistently produce high-quality products. May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeepingduties.

WHAT WE SEEK

High School Diploma or equivalent. Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to readmachine drawings. Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods. Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality. Ability to perform visual checks and handle materialsresponsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment(PPE). Experience in working in an

ISO 9000/14000

environment aplus. Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federallymandated requirements of U.S. export control laws. Able to safely lift 50 pounds. Able to pass pre-employment physical.
